The session will address:
- Already there are more mobile phones in the world than televisions and PCs combined. DeviceAtlas is a service designed by dotMobi that will help make content work on all of them;
- DeviceAtlas is a single, definitive source of device information. DeviceAtlas helps developers and site owners build better mobile web applications that adapt to the widest possible range of mobile devices with structured, accurate data;
- DeviceAtlas brings developers and site owners the most up-to-date information available on handset attributes – from early models of data-capable mobiles to the very latest "smart" mobile devices, so that they can create "device-aware" content;
- Data from DeviceAtlas can be accessed via a web-based GUI, an API or via a dotMobi-licensed database.

Design For Mobile will be the first North American mobile user experience conference. This will be a two-day conference focused on strategy and tactics for user research, product definition, interaction and other design, and usability testing. A day of workshops and training will preceed the conference sessions.
