[edit] font vs. type
Let's use the words "type" and "typography" as much as possible. Font is a collection of typefaces, so there is no such thing as "font size" or "font color" or so on.
[edit] types vs. types
Similarly, the section on "types" should be reworded. Its confusing to have types of type. These are actually display technologies, and there are subcategories within them. The current notes are muddying these distinctions. Glyph vs. Bitmap Glyphs: Various display methods (e.g. Truetype) Glyphs for mobiles: Mobile-specific methods (e.g. Cleartype)
[edit] Stuff that is not done
Type families. Can grab a lot, probably, from this blog entry: http://shoobe01.blogspot.com/2007/08/i-do-not-think-font-means-what-you.html
And, need to research the display technologies a bit, then write them up.
I wonder if italics deserve discussion here: http://shoobe01.blogspot.com/2007/07/why-dont-we-use-italics-online-anyway.html
